Ent

What it does:

It will damage your hatchet if you continue chopping away. You will be able to tell if the tree is an Ent because it will start shaking.

What to do:

Walk away from the tree. Or if you are unlucky enough to have a broken axe, you will have to take the axe to Bob in Lumbridge. He will fix it for you if you pay him (usually under 500 coins).
