Pottery

What to make:

Bowls, pots, and pie dishes.

How to obtain clay:

Mine it in dwarfen mines.

How to soften clay:

Buy a jug from General Store or find one in Lumbridge Castle and use it with a sink or a fountain. Then use it with clay you have mined and you should get soft clay.

Take the soft clay to a potters wheel which can be found in Barbarians Village. Use the clay on the potters wheel and choose which item you would like to make (bowl, pot, or pie dish). Now use the unfired item on the pottery oven and you will have made a pot, a bowl, or a pie dish

Leather

Firstly, you will need cow hides, so you will have to go to a cow field and pick up cow hides. When you have some, take it to the tanner in Al Kharid and exchange it for a piece of leather and 1gp. You can then craft the leather into leather gloves, leather armour, and leather boots. You will need a needle and some reels of thread which can be bought in a crafting shop in Al Kharid near the General Store.

Holy Symbols

You will need silver which can be mined south west of Varrock. Then use the silver on a furnace to get silver bars (you will need a crafting level of 16). You will also need a holy symbol mould which can be bought in the Al Kharid crafting shop. Next, use the silver bar on a furnace and choose either Holy Symbol of Saradomin (increases 9 prayer when blessed) or Unholy Symbol of Zamorak. Then, to make some string, you will need shears which you can buy from a General Store, then use the shears on a sheep to get some wool, and go up to the top floor of Lumbridge Castle and find a spinning wheel. Use the wool on the spinning wheel and you will receive a ball of wool. Then use the ball of wool with your Holy Symbol and you will have put string on it. Lastly, to get the Symbol blessed, go upstairs in the monastery which is east from the dwarfen mines. You will need a prayer level of 31 to get upstairs.

Necklaces, rings and amulets

Buy the appropriate moulds from the crafting shop in Al Kharid near the General Store. To make gold bars you will need to mine gold which can be found on Karamja Island in the dungeons. Then use the gold nugget on a furnace (you need a smithing level of 40) and you will have made a gold bar. Use the gold bar on a furnace and choose what type of jewellery you would like to make. Then choose whether you would like to put a gem in the jewellery you are making. This can increase the value of the type of jewellery. Also if you use magic on the amulets with gems in then this will also give more bonuses e.g. extra strength etc. To add string to your amulet, buy shears from a General Store, then use the shears on a sheep to get some wool, go to the top floor of Lumbridge Castle and find a spinning wheel. Use the wool on the spinning wheel and you will receive a ball of wool. Then use the ball of wool with your amulet.
