Woodcutting is just cutting logs from trees to make fires.

To cut a tree, left click on a tree. You need an axe of some sort in your inventory.

The more powerful the axe, the more chance there is to cut down the tree. (e.g. bronze axe is the least powerful and rune axe is the most powerful).
