Freshen up your bladder

Tired of that stale taste in your camelbak? Never bother washing out your bladder? A simple, effective and cheap way of cleaning your camelbak bladder is to buy a pack of denture tablets or just 'borrow' a handful next time you are round your grandparents.

Stick one tablet in a bowl of cold water with your dismantled camelbak bladder and leave overnight. Make sure all the bladder is submerged.

Hey presto! it's not only clean the next day but minty fresh too!

I use Steradent Active Plus tablets which are circa £1-15 for 30 tablets. That should last you longer than the camelbak!
